In that moment, I knew that it didn't matter that Jordan and I loved each other. That we both felt horrible for how things went down. That it was never my intention to hurt Olivia, to hurt her in any way.
All that mattered to those four girls is that I was the slut that broke them up. That I had something that they all not so secretly wanted. The love and devotion of Jordan Levitt. But I was long passed the point when I would have been eaten up with misery at their disdain. Now, I felt empowered.
Looking each girl straight in the eye I slowly lifted my hand and gave them the middle finger. I heard them gasp. They glared at me and continued to whisper even louder. I tried to hide my smile but failed.
Jordan chuckled beside me. I looked over at him and realized he had seen the whole exchange. “What?” I lifted my shoulders in innocence. Jordan just shook his head and lifted our joined hands, kissing the back of my knuckles.
“That's my girl,” he said, giving me a look that erased every bad and negative thing that ever had or ever could happen in my life.
Yeah. I was Jordan Levitt's girl. And as I thought about the nasty looks, bad reputation and the way people thought about me, I knew....that I just didn't give a damn.
