He lifted her up, his cock going deeper into her as he turned her face so that his mouth could take hers. Thrusting into her, he drove his tongue into her mouth, searching and playing as his cock went deeper and deeper inside of her. Squeezing her face with his hand, he thrust once more inside of her as a loud, harsh sound left his mouth, his body jerking inside of hers. Stilling, her body went limp against his as he held her close, trailing kisses down her throat and jaw.
Falling to his side, he brought her with him, wrapping his arms around her as she turned to face him, her leg hooking over his hip. He kissed her nose, then her mouth, and she closed her eyes as the kiss deepened, her leg sliding along his since both of their bodies were covered in sweat.
“I can’t get enough of you,” he whispered, his breath coming out in a whoosh. “Seriously. I want you again. Right now.”
She scoffed, her body still shaking from her life-shattering orgasm. “You’re gonna have to give me a minute. I can’t breathe.”
“Fine, five minutes,” he teased and she laughed.
“I’m gonna miss you.”
He chuckled against her mouth, his hand cupping her face. Looking deep into her eyes, he kissed the side of her mouth and whispered, “I’ll miss you more.”
Kissing her lips softly, he pulled away way too soon before muttering, “I love you.”
Smiling, she held on to him, her head pounding against his. She didn’t know how she’d gotten so lucky to live her fairy tale, but she was and she wouldn’t let it go. Closing her eyes, she pressed her head against his as she whispered, “I love you too.”
And she knew she always would.
“I didn’t think the airfield would be that bad,” Kacey said as she cuddled Mena into her side, kissing her temple. “I cried just seeing everyone else crying. You would think the guys were going off to war or some shit.”
Lacey laughed as Elli nodded. “It can be a little tough. Owen didn’t do well this time. He and Shea are superclose, so yeah, it was hell. He’s currently sleeping with me.”
They both smiled as Lacey said, “Thankfully, this trip is a short one. I hate when they leave.”
“Amen to that,” Elli agreed. “Between working out and killing my body and raising the Adler clan, I need some extra help. But then, we all knew what we were getting into when we married those hunky men.”
Lacey nodded as Kacey smiled. “I’m not even married to him and it sucks.”
Both of them made sounds of agreement as the door opened and more women spilled in. It had only been two days since Jordie had left and they’d both sucked. Kacey had nothing to do, so she found herself at Lacey’s house, begging for human interaction and something to keep her busy. Since Lacey had been spending a lot of time designing for a new line she was thinking of doing for her shop, it was Kacey’s job to entertain Mena and cut lace. It wasn’t a bad job and Lacey paid her in cookies. So really, she was winning, but still missing Jordie more than a lot.
As Lacey and Elli hugged the six women, Kacey held back, holding Mena since she hadn’t met any of them yet. She knew who they were—the wives of some of the guys Jordie played with but, for some reason, she felt out of place. They were all supposed to do dinner a few nights ago, but life got in the way and a lot of people canceled, leaving Kacey and Lacey at the dinner table. She was excited to meet the women but also very intimidated, which was insane. Like her, they were all very successful and very much in love with their hockey-playing husbands. So really, they had something in common—sex with hockey players—so why was she nervous?
When Elli turned, she sent a grin to Kacey as she came to her, everyone following. “Guys, this is our torture-giver, Kacey King.”
“Ah, the trainer with the hands,” one of them said. She was very pretty, thick dark hair and even darker eyes. She had a nice body, but it was easy to see she had been having babies. “Lucas talks about you fondly.”
Kacey smiled. “Yeah, his shoulder’s been giving him shit lately,” she said, figuring this must be Fallon, Lucas’s wife.
“Yeah, and if you didn’t him keep from bitching about it, I might have to try to kick your ass. But seeing that he is happy, and you are also a good six inches taller than me and have abs and arms that could squash small children, I’m gonna just say, hey! It’s nice to meet you!” she said and everyone laughed as they shook hands.
“So that’s Fallon,” Elli said with a smile. “Her sister, Audrey, my best friend, Harper, her sisters, Piper and Reese. We are all good friends, and for the first time in, like, ever, none of us are pregnant.”
That had everyone snickering as Kacey grinned, cuddling Mena. “It’s great to meet you. Your husbands are great to work with, and I’m excited to get to work on you guys too.”
“Why am I scared?” Audrey asked, wrapping her arms around her middle as she took Kacey in.
“Because she’s gonna kill us,” Piper muttered, eyeing her too, and Kacey smiled.
“Just a little, and you won’t be able to walk tomorrow. But in six months, I bet all of you will be down at least twenty pounds,” she said happily before laying Mena in her playpen. “Now let’s get started.”
Kacey had been playing and working out with women her whole life, but working out with the Assassins’ wives was a whole other thing. Unlike the Assassins’ men, who were focused and ready to work, the women were everything but. They were chatty, talking about everything and anything. And while it was good that they all got along, she did have a job to do, and that was to make them work.
