“Not funny, but more like I can’t believe I was able to get my fingers inside of you.”
The blush covering her cheeks made his breath hitch, she was so pretty.
“I feel like a teenager. You make me feel like this Elli, it’s crazy.”
For the first time, Shea felt like he was blushing as she smiled, cupping his face in her hands and kissing his lips.
“It’s about time,” she said against his lips, “You’ve been making me feel like one since day one!”
He laughed, before kissing her again. He was falling more and more in love each day. Part of him thought maybe she was too, but weren’t women supposed to be super emotional and tell you everything? Because trying to get something out of Elli was like pulling teeth.
He wanted to know if she felt half of what he was feeling, he wanted to hear her say it, but he didn’t want to scare her when he said it and he didn’t want to tell her and then have her not say anything.
That would be horrific.
“What time is it?” she asked, moving his hair out of his eyes, he needed a haircut.
“Almost 9:00.”
“Ugh, it feels so early,” she complained. He smiled, kissing her neck.
“I have a wedding at 11:00, then another one at 6:00. Blah.”
“Busy girl.” She smiled, smacking his butt before moving out from underneath him.
“Wanna go get some breakfast when I get out the shower, if we have time?”
“Sure, baby,” he said with a smile as he watched her walk towards her bag, grabbing it before heading into the bathroom.
“Damn,” he muttered as he covered his face with his hands. She drove him mad.
They didn’t have time for breakfast. Elli said she was having a bad hair day, but when she came out the bathroom, she looked gorgeous. Part of Shea didn’t want to let her go out in her tight black pants, low cut top, and peep-toe pumps. For one, the pants made her ass look so damn delectable, he wanted to eat it. And two, he didn’t like the idea of anyone looking at her toes but him.
Shea was starting to think he was developing a problem. What man was obsessed with a girl’s feet? But he just loved how cute and white they were, all bundled up in high heels with only her big toe showing. Even the purple nail polish on her toes drove him crazy. It was nail polish!
He needed help.
“I think I need help,” he said as he handed her a muffin and orange juice in a can. She looked at him weird, then smiled.
“Why?”
“I like your feet.” She rolled her eyes, giggling as she came around the bar, kissing his cheek.
“My feet are ugly; I’m on them too much.”
“No, baby, really. The purple polish drives me mad.” Elli just kept smiling, kissing his lips this time.
“I like your neck,” she said with a wink that sent heat straight to his crotch, as she walked toward the door, picking up her camera bag. “What are you doing later?”
“I’m going to be waiting for you to come back. You said Adler was with your brother for the weekend?”
“Yeah, Penny wanted him to spend the night and since you were coming home, I agreed.”
“Good. I told you, you can bring him here if you need to.”
“He’s fine, but thanks. So, I’ll come back here after the wedding?”
He smiled, loving how unsure she was, even when she didn’t need to be.
“You better,” he teased, pulling her to him, and kissing her deeply.
They parted and he noticed the heat in Elli’s eyes. Something he had never seen before, his sweet little girlfriend had a hot streak. Yes she did, and he wanted more.
“Mm, damn. You are so sexy, baby,” he muttered against her lips. She gave him a lusty grin, kissing the side of his mouth.
“I have motivation to be.” With that she was out the door with a wave.
He was her motivation, as she was his. He had to grin at that.
Harper and Elli leaned up against a wall, waiting for the bride and groom to make their entrance. The Fellow/Ortiz wedding was gorgeous. Kylie, the bride, had said she wanted a fall festival. Boy, did she get one. It was beautiful, elegant, and amazing. The colors, orange and red with brown as an accent, filled the hall and it was breathtaking. Elli could only hope that one day her wedding would be this pretty.
“God, I feel so good.”
Elli looked over at Harper. She had a big grin on her face. Needless to say, it appeared Harper and Jakob had fun last night.
“I don’t know if I’m gonna last when Jake’s gone for a month. I’m gonna have to go see him, or something, jeez.”
Elli smiled, looking around at all the grinning faces.
“I’m nervous about it, too. I’m really going to miss Shea,” Elli said as a satisfied grin went across her face just remembering the sounds that were coming from the bedroom last night.
God, her hockey player was too hot to trot.
“Yeah,” Harper agreed, than looked over at Elli.
“So what did y’all do last night? Play chess?”
“Funny,” Elli said with a playful glare before she smiled, “I cooked dinner, and then he gave me this necklace,” she said, holding out the little hockey stick.
Harper grinned as she awed with appreciation. Elli leaned over towards Harper and she did the same to Elli, her eyes dancing with excitement.
“I gave him head.”
“Shut the front door!”
Elli nodded eagerly, “And then he fingered me.”
