“Do you want me to take it out?”
“Fuck no, I love it. I think I’m going to come again. Oh, oh…”
He bent so he could suck her nipple into his mouth.
“Oh Eric, that feels so good. Your cock. Your mouth.” She switched on her butterfly, and her pu**y tightened around him as she came again. She was screaming so loud, the person in the next room banged on the wall in protest. Eric thrust into her harder, wanting her to scream louder, wanting the world to know that he was f**king Rebekah Blake, and she was totally getting off on him. He didn’t care if he had needed a few props to get her there. Rebekah was having one mind-blowing orgasm after another, and Eric knew he was responsible.
She’d managed five or six orgasms by the time he let go at least twenty minutes later. As his cum burst free and pulsed into her trembling and exhausted little body, Eric held onto her for dear life. He’d never experienced such an intensely satisfying sexual encounter, and something told him things would get even better as they learned to give each other pleasure.
When he collapsed on top of her, she entangled him in her arms and legs and held him just as hard as he was holding her.
“Eric?” she whispered.
“Hmm?” He doubted he was capable of forming actual words.
“Can I be brutally honest with you?”
He almost wanted to say no. Lie to me and tell me it was as good for you as it was for me. Somewhere, he found the courage to say, “Of course.”
“I didn’t know sex could be this great.” She squeezed him closer. “If I had, I’d be the biggest slut on the planet and would want to f**k constantly. Dear God, that was amazing.”
He wished he had the energy to lift his head and look into her eyes. “Amazing,” he agreed breathlessly.
“Is it too soon to tell you I love you?” She snuggled her face into his chest so her words were muffled. “If it’s too soon, I won’t say it.”
His heart swelled to bursting. He was pretty sure he was going to start crying if he said more than a few words, so he said only three. “I love you.”
She pinched his ass.
“Ow!”
“I wanted to say it first,” she said.
“Fine, I take it back,” he said and moved his hand to rub at the pain she’d inflicted on his ass.
“Don’t you dare.” She pushed against his chest and squirmed until he relented and rolled onto his back. She crawled up his body and looked into his eyes. “I love you.”
Ah, damn it, it was far too soon to be spouting this kind of sentiment. It didn’t stop him from feeling them. Or from saying them. “I love you. A lot. Like way more than my car.” Damn, that sounded stupid now that he’d said it.
She grinned and kissed him. “Way more?”
“Yeah.”
“I’ll let you take a short nap, but then I want you to show me exactly how much you love me.”
“Didn’t I just do that?” he murmured. He was almost asleep already. He hadn’t known it was possible, but his limitless energy supply had dwindled to nothing.
“I think I’ll need a lot of reminders.”
He smiled. “If you insist.” Rebekah’s beautiful face was the last thing he saw before he closed his heavy eyelids and nodded off to sleep. The last thing he heard was the hum of Rebekah’s vibrating butterfly as she switched it on and cuddled against his side with a soft sigh. The last thing he felt was her tiny hand against his abdomen. He had the feeling he’d be waking up with a major hard-on and a horny girlfriend to contend with. His drowsy smile widened.
Chapter 13
Rebekah snuggled closer to the warm body beside her. A large hand splayed over her lower back and drew her closer. “Isaac,” she murmured.
“Isaac?” Eric growled.
Her heart dropped. It sank even deeper when Eric pushed her away and climbed from the bed. “Wait. Where are you going?” she asked, her thoughts still thick with sleep.
“Last night you tell me you love me. This morning you’re calling me by another man’s name. Where the f**k do you think I’m going?”
He put on his underwear and scooped his jeans off the floor. She jumped out of bed and grabbed one leg of his pants. They engaged in a tug-of-war over his jeans, which he would undoubtedly win, but she wasn’t going to let him walk away mad.
“I was still asleep,” she said defensively.
“So you were dreaming about him. Is that it?”
He wrenched his pants out of her hands and bent to put one foot into a leg hole. While he was teetering off balance, she shoved him with both hands, and he toppled onto the bed.
“No, that’s not it, damn it. Isaac is the only man I’ve ever slept with before you, okay?”
He paused, absorbing her words. “You’ve only had sex with one other person?”
“Not exactly. I just didn’t wake up with them beside me. Isaac and I were together for three years. I’m not accustomed to waking up next to anyone but him. Saying his name was a… a habit.”
Eric sat on the edge of the bed and folded his hands on his lap. He stared at his thumbs and asked, “Do you still love him?”
Her heart froze in her chest. “I left him, didn’t I?”
Eric lifted his gaze. “You didn’t answer my question.”
It wasn’t one she could easily answer. She would probably always love Isaac. Not in the crazy way she loved Eric, but Isaac had seen her at her worst and had stood beside her regardless. Isaac had never let her give up, not when she had been bald and looked like an eighty-four-pound skeleton with a perpetual case of nausea.
“Isaac is in my past, Eric. I’m with you now. Being with you feels right. I never felt this way when I was with him. This happy. You make me feel… alive. Happy to be alive.” She moved to stand between Eric’s knees, not sure if she could handle his rejection. Not when she’d given her absolute trust so easily. “You can call me by an old girlfriend’s name if it will make you feel better. I really didn’t mean to call you Isa—”
He covered her lips with one long finger. “I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t say his name again.”
She pantomimed locking her lips with a key and throwing it over her shoulder.
He wrapped his arms around her back and tugged her closer. He pressed his face between her naked br**sts and took a deep breath. “Things always look different in the morning,” he said.
